"Y" hears a sound next door.

The story of a love-triangle is recounted through Anitas memories and jagged monologue. Anita is tremendously naive and in love, Laci is a petty small-town gangster with great powers of persuasion and the secret lover of Szilvi. The three of them leave for Vienna, where Laci sells off the two girls to a peep-show for some small money.

A Canadian policewoman tracks down a 40-year-old man in France who is suspected of killing a woman in Montreal and who, in the meantime, has begun a relationship with a single mother.

58-year-old Monique lives in a small apartment in the projects on the outskirts of Paris. She has retired from assembly-line work with a small textile company, only to learn that her retirement benefits barely match her rent. One of her daughters, Giselle plans to enter the Drama Conservatory in Paris, while her other daughter Sandra is recovering from a suicide attempt.

Russian musical performers, and with them familiar movie characters, began to speak and sing in a romantic language in the style of the French pop of the 60s and 70s.

This film is a tribute to love, a tribute to cinema. Our two main characters take us with them into the intimacy of "real people". We cross the roads of France with them, in their different vans and pick-up trucks transformed for the occasion into mini movie studios. Their concept: to film "declarations of love" and to deliver them directly by van to their recipients. And we discover, as we go along, that our duo and their own personal adventures are subtly intertwined with the people they film. This mix of genres offers several universes to the spectator in order to make him question himself about love.
